By picking the freshest produce and steering clear of the "dirty dozen," we can take a big step towards boosting our well-being.
The EWG's top suspects in 2024 for pesticide overload are:
- Strawberries

- Kale, collard & mustard greens
- Grapes
- Peaches
- Pears
- Nectarines
- Apples
- Bell & hot peppers
- Cherries

- Mushrooms
- Watermelon
- Cabbage
- Kiwi
- Honeydew melon

For a health boost, think about switching to organic produce from the "dirty dozen." By opting for cleaner options, we can avoid harmful pesticides and embark on a path to wellness success. Keep in mind that even minor adjustments in our shopping habits can result in significant improvements in our health!

PS. Here's a natural way to clean your produce without resorting to harsh chemicals:
- Soak your produce in cold water, mix in ¼ cup of baking soda and ¼ cup of white vinegar, gently rub, let sit for 1-2 minutes (or longer), and then rinse with filtered water.
- Don't forget to dry them before you store them!
